Brons homemade dry recipe

A recipe with proper nutritional value, without any artificial, synthetic or toxic ingredients- improving your dogs health long term

Prep time: 15 minutes 

On a large stainless steel pan on the stove:

  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil or olive oil 
  • 1/2 sweet potato 
  • 2 carrot
  • 1/2 broccoli 
  • 1 egg
  • 2 large handfuls of baby spinach 
  • Hemp seeds- 1 teaspoon 
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger & turmeric 
  • 1/2 cup of organic oats 
  • 500 grams lamb or protein mince
  • 1/4 cup water 
  • 1 tablespoon psyllium husk
  • Cook all ingredients on stove on low heat- (boil veggies first) & leave to cool
  • Blend all in food processor 
  • Shape into dry pieces or just pour mix onto tray with baking paper 2x 
  • Cook in oven for 1-1.5 hours on 140-160 degrees, turn over/mix up so all bits 2-3 times throughout & put back in for another hour or until crunchy & golden brown 

Expiry: for 6 days in fridge, otherwise freeze to keep freshness (I keep a quarter out, freeze the rest & take out what I need each week)

When thawed from freezer to fridge, use within 6 days.

Do not re-freeze. 

Store in freezer for up to 4 months 

Cost: approx up to $13.5 for a months worth of morning home made dry for 18kg, medium sized dog.
